Our first family in Pleasantview is the Burb family, who's bio reads: "John, Jennifer and young Lucy have decided to trade the fast-paced city life for some fresh air, and hope to make a nice home here in Pleasantview." They start the game in the sim bin, so I moved them into a cute little premade townhouse that I made over.

John Burb fondly remembers the hours he used to spend weeding and watering his parents' garden; he hopes to continue the tradition.
John Burb - Family/Grilled Cheese aspiration LTW: Reach Golden Anniversary
One True Hobby: Nature Career: Unemployed
John is married to Jennifer, and is the father of Lucy.

Jennifer used to dream of being a soccer superstar, but now she's quite happy to focus on being fashionable and stylish instead.
Jennifer Burb - Fortune/Family aspiration LTW: Become a Space Pirate
One True Hobby: Music and Dance Career: Unemployed
Jennifer is married to John, and is the mother of Lucy. She is also the younger sister to Daniel Pleasant.

Little Lucy has a knack for getting into trouble, but she's so cute and friendly that most people never notice.
Lucy Burb - Grow Up aspiration LTW: N/A
One True Hobby: Film and Literature School: Public School
Lucy is the daughter and only child (thus far) of John and Jennifer.
With introductions out of the way, let's get on to what they were up to on Round 1!

You can tell this picture was from before I made over the house. John starts up a small garden in the back yard while waiting for the newspaper delivery. These sims need jobs!

It's slim pickings in the classifieds today (and every day), John gets a job in Medicine and Jennifer in Business. I may just leave Jennifer where she is, she doesn't really strike me as a Space Pirate. To celebrate their new jobs, John makes the family some grilled cheese.

The welcome wagon arrives, and John meets his neighbour, Darren Dreamer. I make over my sims as I play them, so next time we see Darren he'll look very different.

Jennifer starts working on her skills. Even if it isn't her dream career, she's still a Fortune sim who wants to excel.

Lucy comes home from school with a B+, which she seems to be not thrilled about. That's a solid grade in my opinion!
