Welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy your stay! In this post I'm going to cover how I play, rotation order, and how university works in my gameplay. If you're looking for the first story post, click HERE.

How I play

I rotate through each family in a neighbourhood before moving to the next one, with the exception of sims who moved out of their original family after 6pm since that will count as their rotation as well for aging purposes. They join the rotation on the next round. This also applies for sims who have just gone off to university.

Each rotation is 1 sim day, from 6am-6am, unless a sim works odd hours (I may end later than 6am or before, depending on the shift) so that the sims are on the lot when I save. I know this has been debunked for corruption, but old habits die hard!

I assign the first aspiration for my sims when they age up, but the secondary is always randomized, even for premade sims who have already have a primary assigned. If the randomizer lands on what their primary aspiration already is, they don't get a secondary aspiration. I do it this way to keep each playthrough unique, as sims I would never play certain ways end up being totally different than whatever canon I have for them.

Plantsims can only get pregnant or get other pregnant if the other sim isn't a plantsim. It's a side effect of the spores.

I have some sim bin families, but not all of them. Some I just don't find interesting no matter how I play them, and some I just don't enjoy playing with.

All woohoo is risky, with a 20% chance of pregnancy. I raised the odds a bit as I have auto Try for Baby off.

Sexuality is rolled when sims age into teen, or on the first day of playing for the Uni premades.

I don't play with the Bon Voyage vacations, I'm not sure why but it's never been a part of the game I enjoy.

I also use a ton of mods, so if you have any questions about how I'm able to do something, or anything of that nature, please ask away!

Rotation Order

This section will be a work in progress for awhile until I actually play all the families, and add the universities For now, we have:

How University Works

All age appropriate sims in my game attend university, but which university they attend depends on a few factors. I also have my semester set as 36 hours instead of 72 hours via a mod. Props to you if you can stand 72 hours or more per rotation!

For La Fiesta Tech:

Sims must be from a wealthy family if they aren't attending from Strangetown, as it would be a pretty far move, or attending private school.

The only available majors are Biology, Mathematics, Psychology, Physics, and Political Science. The only exception are sims who are in the premade Greek Houses can keep whatever major they had, so that I don't have empty Greek Houses at the start.

For Academie La Tour:

Sims must be from a wealthy family if they aren't attending from Riverblossom Hills, as it would be a pretty far move, or attending private school.

The only available majors are Art, Drama, Economics, History, Literature, Philosophy, and Political Science. There aren't any premade Greek Houses at the start so nobody is grandfathered in.

For Sim State University:

There are no restrictions. Every sim can attend, and every major is available. This is my "party school" for sims who don't care much about education, or who aren't wealthy enough to attend one of the "better" schools.

Thank you for reading, and if you have any questions please let me know! Happy reading!
